As the days get warmer and the evenings longer, it somehow makes afternoon tea far more enjoyable. Sipping freshly brewed tea, a selection of flavoured teas, in a china cup and saucer, of course, as well as having a small china side plate for your treats to be placed on.

Now, cakes and cut sandwiches, how nice would it be to have a cake table set up and display all that’s good? Well, we mean, as a treat every now and again, of course, all in moderation!

You could have a choice of sandwiches such as cheese slaw, egg and cress, ham and tomato, tuna and smoked salmon with a touch of lemon and black pepper.

One would have to have scones, jam – high fruit content – and a soft dollop of clotted cream. We would leave it up to you which way round the jam and cream goes. A rich chocolate cakewith a hazelnut frosting, a delightful carrot cake topped with lemon cheese cream, banana and pecan with salted caramel icing and the iconic Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle cake, macaroons of various colours and flavours and chocolate brownies.

With bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Creme fraiche or Greek yoghurt is something with a slight sharpness to help with the sweetness of the cakes.

These are just a few of the cakes and treats we can offer for weddings, dinners, buffets, lunches and as a treat in the office or set up on the rooftop on a summer’s afternoon, how delightful.
